Local Under Football Team "Ball Haye Green" Under 13's (Who Are Sponsored In Part By Leek Radio CIC) Have Been Victorious Once Again Their Latest Match Today (Sunday 27th November) Against Kidsgrove athletic u13s.
Today's Match Ended Up Being A Score
Of 5-0 To The Ball Haye Green Lads Away At Kidsgrove AFC Development Centre. This Win Putting Them 6 points clear at the top of the North Staffs Junior Youth League (Division 5), with a game in hand.
The Teams Founder & Secretary Mr Gary Cooper Said,
We started the team for my son & before we knew it other children approached us about joining too. Kids who were let down by other teams. We just wanted to give kids a chance. Football and personally.
Mr Craig Barratt (Mgr), Mr Dean Gilson (Asst Mgr) and myself have proved that if you give young people a chance, they wil build friendships, Self Confidence & their Achievements & Successes, limitless.
He Then Went On To Say

The Teams Manager, Mr Craig Barratt Told Us Via Facebook,
These boys are just amazing to be around and a pleasure to manage. The club is currently buzzing with 8 games undefeated which in itself is a great achievement and shows how these boys are starting to mature and understand what is needed to get results.
We are still working on so many things in the club to help these lads understand the game but for us the main thing is enjoyment. If they can have fun out there and win games what more do you want from grassroots football?
I'm sure a lot of people now think we have the best chance of winning the league and then it's onto the cups and who doesn't love the chance of a double hey? If we are still in this position after the next 2 games I might even crack a smile and say we could go all the way. So 'Up The Green!' and let's hope we keep the undefeated record.
