Haregate Families Treated To A Familiar Christmas Sight

Once Again Christmas Is Upon Us And Its Great To See The Rotary Club Back In Action With Santa This Year & Stopping To Greet The Children.

Tonight, 16th Dec 2021 At 17:00, Haregate Residents Were Treated To The Familier Sound Of Upbeat Christmas Music As Mr & Mrs Clause Made Their Way Around The Estate Greeting The Local Children & Treating Them To Sweets & Chocolate.

Santa Kept Socialy Distant Using A Plastic Screen Between The Children & Himself Which Most People Seemed Happy About & Their Volunters Were Doing A Grand Job Of Leading The Procession, Jingle Bells In Hand To Alert Local Residents That Santa Was Approaching.

One Local Resident Said,

This Could Be The Last Year, Santa Wise For My Son, As He'll Be 12 Next Year And You Never Know When Your Children Will Suddenly Start Asking The "Is Santa Really Real" Questions. We are Really Glad She Got To Experience This Again Before That Starts To Become A Thing.

Another Lady From Haregate Said,

It Was Really Great To See Santa Again This Year, Especially For The Children. I Love Seeing the Sheer Joy On Their Little Faces When Santa Pulls Up.

The Route for Santa's walkabout on Haregate today started at 4.30pm On Abbotts Road (from near The Priory) & Continuing On To Westminster Road, Haregate Road, Argles Road, Horsecroft Crescent, Haregate Road, Queens Drive, Princess Avenue, Prince Charles Avenue, Windsor Drive.

Thank You To Leek Rotary Club For Once again Putting On This Amazing Spectacle!
